Living in Yamhill County...

....A great place to call home! Each of the county regions have much to offer and are truly unique.  Vineyard covered hills and fertile farmland valleys cover the region and are highlighted with rivers and streams and creeks.  One of the original four Oregon counties, Yamhill County boasts a rich & varied agriculture economy, producing more than 160 varieties of crops including over 90% of the nation’s hazelnuts.

The Yamhill Valley is centrally located within close proximity to the metropolitan areas of Portland and Salem, a short distance from the mountains, and is an hour's drive from the Oregon Coast. The County's centralized location, combined with its diverse amenities, makes Yamhill Valley the best of many worlds, offering a wealth of history, arts, and culture.

Due to its placement, the county is a high-traffic area and arrangements are being made for alternate travel routes. Learn more about the Newberg-Dundee Bypass which is expected to complete phase 1 by the end of 2016.

We invite you to explore, delight, and stay in this amazing area we are proud to call HOME.
